Clustered evaluation of ILO operations on just transition to environmental sustainability and the green economy
The purpose of the evaluation was to assess how donor funding is contributing to the achievement of country programme outcomes in countries covered by both the SIDA-ILO programme, and PAGE, specifically within the remit of just transition to environmental sustainability and green jobs. This evaluation focused on interventions at the global and national levels, as well as on overall project coordination and management activities by the ILO.

Comprehensive evaluation of the African Development Bank’s Integrated Safeguards System. Our Senior Partner was the appointed team leader of the formal evaluation of the ISS, which was lead by the Bank’s Independent Development Evaluation (IDEV).

Independent Evaluation of the UN Green Climate Fund´s Project Preparation Facility (PPF)
Contracted by the Independent Evaluation Unit (IEU) of GCF to produce an evaluation of various aspects of the GCF´s PPF Pilot Scheme. This included the use of the following methods:

Creation and analysis of a set of perception surveys that were sent out to current GCF accredited entities, applicant entities/direct access entities and National Designated Authorities (NDAs)
Key informant interviews
Portfolio/data Analysis
Comparator review; which mapped and compared the PPF Pilot scheme with similar modalities of other organizations. Examining and drawing lessons from:
§ GEF PPG (Project Preparation Grant),
§ the WB PPF (Project Preparation Facility), and ADB PPTA (Project Preparatory Technical Assistance)
Client: Independent Evaluation Unit of GCF (through Climate Law and Policy)
Contracted to produce a report commissioned by UN-REDD to inform their replenishment and strategic direction post 2020. This study included a focus on (i) UN-REDD´s role in countries´ landscape policies, (ii) UN-REDD´s role in strengthening national capacities to monitor, measure, and report robust and environmentally sound forest and land-based mitigation outcomes, (iii) UN-REDD´s role in supporting counties to leverage climate and grey finance to advance and scale up forest and land-based climate solutions; (iv) UN-REDD´s role in maximizing mitigation and adaptation synergies for optimal implementation of forest and land-based climate solutions
